Fine and Fee Policy

Fine for ‘NEW’ print materials, music, audiobooks, and Playaways.

One day grace* and $0.10 per day to a maximum of $10.00

Fine for ‘NEW’ DVD/Blu-ray.

One day grace* and $0.50 per day to a maximum of $10.00

*Please note that there is no day of grace on items obtained out-of-system. 

Fine for E-Readers/Wi-Fi Hotspots/Chromebook Kits.

$5.00 per day to a maximum of $50.00

Fine for all items obtained out-of-system.

$0.10 per day

When a patron has misplaced an item, the staff will renew the item up to 3 times*, giving the patron a chance to

continue to search for the item(s).

Lost/Damaged and Paid

Lost/Damaged and paid items are nonrefundable.

The replacement fee for a lost or damaged item is the item’s retail price at its time of purchase.

Replacement Fees

Barcode- $1.00

Book jacket- $2.00

Music CD/DVD case- $3.00/ Multiple- $6.00

Missing lock on CD/DVD case- $1.50

Entire case, including barcode and artwork- $5.00

Audio CD Case- $10.00

Other Fees

Computer printouts- $0.25 per page (B&W); $1.00 per page (Color)

Microfilm Reader Printout- $0.25 per page (B&W)

Ear Buds- $2.00

Headphones- $5.00

16 GB Flash Drive - $5.75

Library Tote Bag- $2.50

Fax Service (send)- $1.00 per page - No international faxing.

Returned Check Fee - Up to $25.00

Material Recovery Fee- $13.00 per account (if turned over for collection)

*Renewing an item 3 times may not be possible for out-of-system materials.
