Teen Tech Week Take-Apart Event

Have you ever wondered what the inside of a computer looks like or wanted to take apart an appliance to see how it works?  Here's your chance!  We'll have some electronics and tools to pry them open--unscrew, pop open, and see what's inside!

For teens in grades 7-12.

Tweens and Memes

We need creative, tech-savvy tweens to design the perfect meme for our library!  All participants will create a meme and patrons will vote to select a winner.  The winner will be announced March 14th!  Please contact Reddick Library's Youth Services Department to register for this event.  All participants must have Internet Permission Form signed by a parent or legal guardian. 

For tweens in grades 4-6.

This special event will take place in the Reddick Library Children's Department.

The Dalai Lamas of Tibet

Come and enjoy an evening of stimulating spriritual discussion as Glenn Mullin presents, The Dalai Lamas of Tibet: Their Essential Message for Living a Happy and Helpful Life.  Glenn Mullin is a well-known Tibetologist, curator of Himalayan art, author, spiritual teacher and leader of spiritual pilgrimages to Tibet, India, and Nepal.
