Community Information Bulletin Board Policy

HOURS: Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 9:00pm | Friday-Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm | Sunday 12:00pm - 5:00pm

Reddick Public Library District recognizes its role as a source of community information. Because of space limitations, however, the Library must set limits and priorities for distribution or display of printed materials (flyers, brochures, posters, etc.) within the Library’s facilities.

The Community Information Bulletin Board may be used for posting the following types of information:

  • Fliers, brochures, announcements, or schedules distributed or sponsored by a nonprofit organization, group, or agency, or by any federal, state, or local government agency and pertaining to services provided by government to citizens.
  • Announcements of forthcoming or continuing educational, social, cultural, or entertainment activities offered by nonprofit organizations.
  • “Community switchboard”-type information (i.e. Hotline, Suicide Prevention, etc.)
  • Any appropriate Reddick Public Library District or library system publications or poster, including employment information.

Requirements and guidelines:

  • All items must be reviewed and approved in advance by the Library Director. All items will be posted by Library staff.
  • The library reserves the right to remove any posted item.
  • Posting of materials does not imply Library endorsement of content; nor will the Library accept responsibility for the accuracy of statements made in such materials.
